TED is a worldwide phenomenon, festivals of short (18 minutes or less) talks committed to sharing “ideas worth spreading.” TED is an acronym for Technology, Entertainment, & Design and you can read their history here.

TEDx events are independently licensed, local events named for their venue or region and hosted by individuals in those communities.

TEDxArlee is an independently licensed TED event featuring local speakers, many of whom will touch on our 2016 theme, Expanding Horizons. Five student speakers will give short talks and several community members will add to those. We are proud to host TEDxArlee in our small town, one of the smallest TEDx venues ever, in our own community hall called The Brown Building.

We look forward to sharing our great ideas with the world!
